The 650's took 7-8+ hours, but they had 30 minute levels instead of 20 and the bubble took almost 3 of those, so I'm thinking this won't take THAT long. We'll see.

I dont know if people understand the magnitude of this satellite today... a certain site that has been pushing the WSOP hard all year had 262 Qualifiers as of today (they have a big sat coming too) this satellite ALONE could give around 200 seats!! Just huge! This satellite alone would have filled about 25% of the field that Moneymaker beat.

Justin, I'm not sure we all care about the success of economic success of PokerStars. It's a nice acheivement for Pokerstars, the question is are we better off fighting this gigantic fields.

I dont really care if it is Stars... this is just a HUGE satellite by any benchmark. Now for my Adanthar impression: "You are much more +EV in sats that offer more seats, please refer to my posts"

Why the heck wouldn't it be a good thing fighting off a minefield?

I'm stoked. There are billions of bad players that satellited into this, lots of 'dead' money who will feel like they'll need to gamble like crazy to get a seat.

I'm going to play solid poker and win one of them. Period.

Oh yeah, free Pstars Silver status if you play today.

I made it on a $7.50 rebuy last night, and I already have my WSOP seat w/Stars, so now I'm debating whether to play or not. I expect lots of awful play since SOOOOOO many people satted their way into this, the question is do I want to endure this marathon?

Whether I play or not, this should be the ultimate example of Adanthar's theory on the most +EV big event satelites.

pro: PS Silver status (it's funny that this is actually a pro for me but its not like I ever play or anything)
con: you have to play poker and stuff
