Grunch or whatever the term is:
Playing poker is all about thinking in terms of big bets. If you have the bankroll to play 4/8k and you are good enough to win at that level over the long term then its not a problem. As has been quoted in many a book the minute you start thinking in terms of "that 50k bet is a new Lexus" or something like that, thats when you know your not really ready to play that high. Added to that is the gamble factor. If over time your winning at $1/$2 you move up because it becomes boring and not much of a test, if you win at $2/$4 you move up etc etc etc. |
