I don't think anyone ever said he was a good player and I don't think he claims to be. This is what pisses me off about all this [censored].

Clarkmeister played with Moneymaker in the Mirage 40-80 game and thought he could beat that.

Does anyone know if these guys (Hachem and Moneymaker) are actually playing with their own money, or are they just playing because of contractual obligations with PokerStars money? IMO that makes a big difference in how they play.

Why should that make a difference? If someone gives me money it has the same value and can be spent the same way as money earned. Unless, you mean Pokerstars stakes them and they take away the stake and any profits at the end. Then playing like a donk would be +EV soley for meta-game reasons in case you ever encounter these players live or observers.

if it's not their money they may just donk around and consider it good business advertising. Donking it up makes everyone playing with them think.

"gee if this donk can win the WSOP ME, I should enter all these satellites and win the ME myself"

Ansky told me Moneymaker played well at 10/20, so meh. He can't be horrible at 25/50 or anything.
