Re: Misplayed on all streets???
(sarcasm)Wow, an actual hand post... doesn't seem like there are many of these around these days
(/sarcasm) Preflop: I don't like the cap here. SB is signalling to you that he has a very strong hand, so I think you want to be careful here and see if the flop is good for you. Also, if the flop comes ragged (as it did), by not capping you have the ability to raise on the flop and knock out the CO, which I think is important for your somewhat vulnerable overpair. Just my opinion... |

Re: Misplayed on all streets???
I would raise the flop. I also wouldn't fold the river, it makes no sense for him to check/raise with a better hand. I think there's a good chance he's doing this with a naked Ace.

Re: Misplayed on all streets???
To summarize:
PF: Probably just call and wait for bigger edge (if you have an overpair) to raise flop. Flop: Stick that raise in. Turn: Particularly with the overlay of BB in the pot, still a clear raise. River: Bet is fine, but good God do not fold. |

Re: Misplayed on all streets???
I have to agree that I don't like the cap preflop. Far too often an A or K or Q shows up, or a couple of them. This way you can get away from your hand ...
