I haven't played much lately, or posted for that matter. But I think this is a call for the following reasons. At worst you have 35% equity in the hand. Thats not a bad worst case scenario. There is near 90 in preflop of dead money to consider. It sounds like it may be good information to know what this player is up to since he sounds like a regular. Throw in the fact you will get a little extra action for a couple of orbits if you drop the pot and the x factor that he may just be worse or better or different then your rock solid read of him, and I would lean towards calling...
