Default Where to Start and How Much?

I'm relatively new to playing limit hold-em and have a general question.

whats the best limit to start at and how much should you set down with and what should be your "loss cut off point"?

I've been watching the lower limit games .50-1.00 to $2-$4 and it seems like no matter what if any player is in the had, they will go to the river no matter what they have. I'm thinking that maybe starting at $3-$6 would be the place to start at.

Any suggestion would be most welcome...

Thanks

woa woa woa. if ur massively rich and doing this for fun, 36 is probably the way to go. if u legitimately want to win and are playing on a bank roll you really have to start off low, generally determined by your play and available money. If you were sitting 36, i would recomend at least a 2000 dollar bank roll to cover your swings. thats IF your play is at a point where your really playing properly. Since your so new, id would try some microlimit tables, or .5/1 for a while to see where your at skill wise.

sit at a table with at least enough to cover the maximum bets on the every street (12bb) i generally start at a table with 25bb. i dont really have a "cutoff" losses point, i leave tables that i feel are not good for my play, and typically leave/rebuy a table when i drop below 10bb.

You need to learn the fundamentals if you are still learning, so I would (and did) start at .50/1 with $300.
