Check/call on the river (maybe way too weak?) A lot of callers and a number of better hands, someone is likely collecting bets, especially a 6.

[/ QUOTE ]

Way too weak. We have a very strong hand and we must collect bets from the calling stations that will call us. For example in this hand QQ would have paid us off even if they hadn't spiked a Q, and the players behind likely call as well. Sure it puts you in crappy spots occasionally, but you have to bet these rivers.

I thought I played this as strongly as I could. I kept hearing Ed Miller in my head screaming "Protect Your Hand!!"

He does that to me, too. Sometimes I'm about to let a river check through, and he comes bursting through the wall like the Kool-Aid guy and says "HEYYY! You gotta value bet that!" He's kind of a dick like that.

I should be medicated.

:grunch:

Preflop, flop, and turn all good.

River: What sort of read did you have on EEP? Did they like to slow-play big pairs?

Regardless, I would have bet-called the river. I think the 3-bet and call was probably dead money at this point given the board and the fact that EEP all of a sudden came alive.

I call the river raise w/o a read that he's a maniac.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you had a read that he is a maniac, would you then raise this river?

river 3-bet is pointless. what is he waking up with now? AT T9 KQ 6x.

"evil evil person" rofl. you sucked out on him on the turn.

[/ QUOTE ]
I wouldn't call it a suck out since evil person showed no sign of strength at all until he hit a full house.
