100$ NL 6m. RRed AA facing worst turn possible vs 2 pf callers.
First cold caller in this hand is a donkey calling way to much preflop (his range in this spot is definately 1010-QQ and AKs, probably some random garbage like AQs/Ako/88-99 as well, don't know about smaller pairs). He generally plays postflop OK though.
Villian 2 I know nothing about, less than 10 hands. I've been playing normal borderline TAG/Lag style, maybe 24/17 or something like that on this table, I think it's the second time I RR pf (I'm almost sure I made it 14$ pf since that's my standard RR, but doesn't seem so). My flop bet is to induce calls, they don't have odds to draw to any hand they have anyway, and I think 25$ gets called more often than 35$ in this spot. If a black 2 came on the turn, or any card I'd consider a brick, I wouldn't consider anything else than AI. This turn card pretty much sucks though, esp. versus two opponents. I put at least one of them on a semi-big overpair (JJ most probable). Re: 100$ NL 6m. RRed AA facing worst turn possible vs 2 pf callers.
i am potting this flop as it is crazy draw heavy and i really dont want them to see a turn card.
as played, i find it hard folding 25 into a $140 pot. |

Re: 100$ NL 6m. RRed AA facing worst turn possible vs 2 pf callers.
Now that 3 people said it. Why would I bet pot on the flop? My read is that it is very probable that a hand like JJ can get away if I bet pot. If I bet smaller, it's much easier for them to call.
If anyone of them has a set I'm screwed anyway and wont do nothing good when betting pot.... But isn't there a chance that a smaller bet (like 5/8 pot in this case) can induce more calls? I WANT to play for stacks here if the turn card is good. |

Raise more preflop. Id make it closer to $20.
On the flop I would probably look to check-raise all in, instead of leading out. |

[/ QUOTE ] i think the issue you're facing here is that the villain with the supposed overpair that you want in there is going to simply be padding villain 2's odds to draw to whatever he has. This is a three way re-raised pot, so i think trying to induce a mistake by betting small is much less desirable than trying to induce a mistake by betting the full pot. I wouldn't even be opposed to a slight pot overbet. Yeah, you're giving your hand away to a degree but one certain thing is that you simply won't be able to get as much value with your strong hands OOP as you would in position. |

How about the turn c/f? If I had the Ah I would obv. not do that.

With it 3 way I don't like drawing hands looking at the turn for cheap. Overpairs might call you down, yeah. The turn is icky but it's a cheap showdown. |
