Default PartyPoker questions (promotions)

hello-

I am a somewhat new affiliate for PartyPoker and had a question about the various promotions they offer, specifically the WorldCup freeroll last month.

I want it to be known I dont offer any kind of rakeback at Party, just I frequent these forums more than any other and figured this would be the best place to ask.

One of my students (i sign them up at Party in exchange for lessons) told me he won close to $1,000 in the World Cup freeroll and I was wondering if Party held that against an affiliate MGR? It appears so, but I cant say for certain.

Thanks
Marc

I would hope this is not true.

It would be outrageous if party could say, "hey, I'm going to give players the option of winning free money such as wagering so much on blackjack and having a chance at winning some money or these freerolls then saying, well even though I was putting the money up for this, I'm going to put it on the affilliate who referred them."

wasn't there a thread that said that party deducted a flat 5% of gross rake to cover promotions other than reloads and other direct bonueses? and deducted for chargebacks separately, but the miscellaneous promotions were covered by the 5%?

why does your 'student' care how the freeroll affects his MGR unless you are giving him a cut?

my bad

i thought it said 'and was wondering'...missed the 'i'

ask him which day the money cleared to his account

if it seems plausible that your MGR for that day could include a -1000 in it, then it may have counted

but i'm pretty sure that freerolls don't count at all...

i'm positive a percentage of the MGR is reduced, but i'm not sure how much. 5% of the MGR sounds about right though...
