you are buying from other people, and selling to other people. supply and demand determine the price, and the amount over the bid+ask is WSEX's juice.

contracts can be traded until results show. once winner is determined, their contract is worth 100, and the rest plummet to zero.



actually, not the rest. when it is down to the final 2, one will be worth zero after the show, the other worth 100.

also, obviously if a contestant is eliminated, they go to zero as well, and the value of that contestant is distributed into the remaining market.
