with offsuit cards its going to come down to how likely is it that we dominate our villians range and vise versa. Like why we would play K7 but not K2

I am not sure about suited cards since I am not sure how to factor in PF implied odds with a hands like 95s for instance.

In respect to domination isnt it indifferent if we held k7 or k2?

Ok, I completely agree with this.

Again, I often feel like I'm in the same boat. I'm always playing almost completely by feel in these spots, but think I should have more of a concrete, mathematical foundation for making these decisions.

Just wanted to see if there was some sort of consensus for these spots. I guess there really isn't. I'll have to do some work on this one.

95s should have reverse implied odds. the reason for this is that 95s has more than 1/6th hot cold pot equity preflop which would justify a clear call. we consider folding this hand because even though the call is correct hot and cold it has reverse implied odds.

in this spot i would call down to A5o but that might be a little low. A6o for sure i think. any suited ace of course.

A5o is no worse a hand than A6o (probably slightly better)

well thats an interesting debate and you might be right. in this case though i think A6o is slightly better tho for domination reasons even tho a 6 kicker often doesnt play.
