projection tv = obsolete

Obsolete in what way?

It will play HDTV stations. I can play video games on it. I can watch movies on it. I can watch ordinary TV stations on it. I agree that the picture quality won't look like a plasma or flat screen, but how does that make it obsolete?

Basically, you can't be a baller if you have a projection tv. 2p2 is all about being ballers, so projection tvs are obsolete in our baller lifestyles.

RCA 52'' Widescreen, Model D52W23

Best Buy now has it at $800 plus tax with free shipping. It's a rear-projection TV, and I've heard that the old school big screen TV's with rear-projection break easily. Does anyone have any experience or know anybody with experience with a TV like this?

Basically, I want a big screen TV like this, but I don't want to pay through the nose for it. This strikes me as a pretty good deal.

I have this TV, love it.

I think OP is more concerned with getting a good deal on a widescreen HDTV than whether or not an internet forum thinks he's a baller.

That looks sick! Perfect for my dormroom. Thanks for the link.

I have never seen a dormroom that could hold a TV anywhere near this size
