Ok the reason I bet so little on the flop was that this guy liked to come over the top. I was hoping he would do it on the flop. I checked the turn hoping for him to come out betting on the river as he had before in other hands. I think he had the same plan as me to get all my chips in the pot.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] yad, its really really different to 200NL. By far the biggest jump so far. On average, there would be me, one idiot and 4 other 20/15 type players at the table. The biggest problem I found was the aggression. EVERY1 is aggressive...and megarly so. By all means take a few shots. But remember to use good game selection and to move down if the going is bad [/ QUOTE ] its ok tho cuz most of the 20 15s are bigger losers than the 60 5s. [/ QUOTE ] How so? They never know when they're beat? Too passive post-flop? [/ QUOTE ] no because they are so readable and they try to outplay you when they cant, and if u raise enough eventually they will just call u down 24 7 with any pair. |

Gooch: Don't forget results (villians hand) and I don't think that c/c'ing turn and river in hand 1 is the best way to get it in.

tickner, weren't you playing the speed 11's just awhile ago? How'd you get rich so quick? =) [/ QUOTE ] Playing a lot and learning a ton. NL cash really is a cash cow... ill be at 3/6NL by the end of the month and taking shots at 5/10 if I continue playing like I am now. To answer your question, I stoped playing SNGs. Look at my blog and you will see how I progressed from... Limit->SNGS->NL Limit and bonus whoring I did okay, made a few grand, paid off my debt. SNGs I broke even for like a month and a half and decided I hated them. NL cash I lost a ton at first but now Im pwning $400NL for more money than I ever thought possible. -Tickner |
