Some places may have a pocketpair over pocketpair for full houses and quads rule, in those instances KTo would not be a jackpot hand. |

I have seen the dealers dig through the muck to find an ace and ask who folded it because it blew a potential jackpot. It seems the dealers are getting pretty greedy for the fat tips they get off of the jacpots. I mean if the dealer wants to front me the chips to call every hand to play Jacpot Bingo I will.

I am very suprised places that are regulated are able to get away with a lot of the stuff they do with jackpots. |

What sort of stuff? [/ QUOTE ] Funding promotions. The jackpot money is to be returned to players. Some places take money form the jackpot drop and add it to tournaments and similiar promotions that the players playing (at this moment) have no way of winning. edit to add: A promotion that I am aware of that I can't believe gaming went for is a rake back deal. From 9 am- noon for every $1 raked out of the pot a player receives a "chip." At noon they get $1 for each of these chips. This takes money contributed by players playing at other times and gives it to the players playing during these set hours. |

i personally wouldnt go back or if its really your only place to play just sit out while that dealer is in the box
i know certain players that stand up/sit out while certain dealers are in their 30 minute slot granted now being in Kansas City and playing at Harrah's where they ahve 1+ hours in the box, getting up while a dealer is in the box is impossible as they would pick up your chips as you would probably get enough buttons to warrant that in that time |

Insanely, unbelievably bad.
That said, I'd kiss that guy, if he'd loosen up some of the online games I've been in, lately. |

But don't confuse "jackpot money" with "jackpot and promotions" money. Even if the latter is often called "jackpot money" for short. Casinos that fund promotions with this money make no secret of it. They put up big signs, so everybody knows where the money is going. If the customers want to contribute to it, they sit and play. If they don't, they go play somewhere else. |
