($27 PS) TT on the bubble with small blind already committed
PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t400 with t25 antes (4 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com
Hero (t5740) Button (t4060) SB (t50) BB (t3650) Preflop: Hero is in CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero ??? If I call in this situation I'm 100% certain that the big blind will come over the top of me (as he probably should) so this leaves me with folding, pushing or raising. The button is likely to fold if I push/raise however the BB concerns me. Given that he's solid I'd expect his range to be very tight to call however I'm wondering if its worth the risk to only gain approx 2bbs. |

ALL IN
edit: wtf? BB/Button shouldn't come over the top of you with anything less than JJ+ |

Push and they should fold aces probably, not that they will, Ive seen 'good players' (allegedly) calling with AK and 99 in these spots before.

This is ugly. BB/Button SHOULDN'T call your push without like KK+ but since when has a play being bad stopped anyone?
I think I push anyway. |

[/ QUOTE ] To answer this question you really need an excellent read on the hero, and I don't have one, even though i know what his hand is, if you see what I mean. Mack |

[/ QUOTE ] Are you people retarded? SB could still survive this hand and have 175 later on. Because of this, hero should be pushing any 2. Hero (t5740) Button (t4060) SB (t50) BB (t3650) 2/400 a 25 If BTN calls hero's all in and wins and sb is knocked out: he has 8595 =.42 hero has 1680 bb has 3225 If BTN folds and hero knocks out SB: 6240 4035 ~.3247 3225 .3247/.42 need 77% equity If BB calls hero's all in and wins and sb is knocked out: bb 7375 .3972 hero 2090 button 4035 If BB folds and hero knocks out SB: 4035 6240 3225 .3024 bb needs 76% equity so they both need JJ+ to call here if villian is truly pushing any 2 cards here. if he's not, then they need roughly either QQ+ or KK+. |

Re: ($27 PS) TT on the bubble with small blind already committed
You should push. BB can only profitably call with AA. KK is probably marginally profitable. Sheets just finished a video lecture on this with all the math behind it for this very situation at PokerXFactor (not that you need a video lecture to figure this out).
