LoL. I am listening to a replay right now. I am glad to see that I am not the only one who has the stern channel on pretty much 24/7. Pure gold.

To the XM users, Sirius is so much better. I have a friend who had XM with Direct TV and always told me how great it was. He was a Howard fan so he finally got Sirius for his car. He now says XM is awful and if it wasn't for the Ludacris show he would never use it again.

Speaking completely ignorantly, as I have no knowledge of Sirius music stations, it really does come down to Stern or no Stern. The music on XM is decent, but nothing to go crazy over. Their inexplicable pimping of bands is very strange. I bought it for access to more music, but all I listen to is talk radio. I won't judge the Stern fans, but I can't stand him. Give me O&A any day. Ergo XM for me.

I have access to both XM and Sirius. While I really enjoy Ron and Fez on XM, the music is far superior on Sirius and O&A has been much miss than hit since they went to the split show. Stern, on the other hand, has been much better since he got to Sirius. That said I mainly listen to

21 Alt Nation
22 First Wave
43 Backspin
63 Outlaw Country

w/ a little Left of Center and The Spectrum thrown in

I never listen to regular radio

Must you? I wasn't talking about Stern. I was talking mainly about the other stations. I have heard plenty of people (including the post above yours) that Sirius has better music.

Where was this testimonial when I was begging for comparisons a few months ago? Honestly, I'd be extremely disappointed in my XM if I hadn't become so obsessed with O&A.

I used to have a dozen different channels I would surf.

But since Howard started in January, I've pretty much stopped listening to anything else.

I really can't believe satellite radio isn't bigger than it is. I don't know anyone who just watches free tv. Everyone, literally EVERYONE has cable or satellite tv.

How people can pay $100/mo for cable, and not $13/mo for radio, baffles me. If the price of Sirius doubled tomorrow, I'd still happily pay it.
