Thanks for the comments. Don't worry, it's not a massive leak - I was just seeking some good out of this hand by saying that I lost the min. As I said, against anyone else at the table - I 3-bet on the flop.

But, wouldn't it be safe to say that anyone else, their range is narrower? This is why you can jam a bit with a LAG in these spots. Or wait to use their aggression on the turn.

3-bet! Cmon, given the description of him you have to. Plus you have to charge all those other limpers. a 3-bet may fold one of them.

A 3-bet doesn't get many to fold even the amazing gutshots at this table. Just tonight, same game, a guy defends his BB with 36 HU. Flop is 24J. Turn: 5. They go 4 bets. River: x. BB scoops. When asked about the hand the BB is like "It was my big blind!"

Fearing loose play like this loses you money.

rowdy,

No offense but it sounds like you play scared. I know because I once played scared too, in fact it was when I first jumped up to 20/40 a couple of years ago. I use to give people credit for hands they didn't hold and tried to save money by making big lay downs. You may be a winning player now but if you constantly think like this you are going to get run over. This is a must 3-bet or a call and raise turn, no doubt.

With all due respect, this was one hand where I had a strong read that I was crushed on the flop so I slowed down. Yes, he got there and I didn't charge him (or the others) the full amount to chase. I realize this and had I put him on a draw, I would have blasted. I went with my read and was wrong. Surely this has happened to you guys before.

If I'm getting killed or tilting or basically shouldn't be playing I play/think like this.
