Basic features that should be in the poker software (but aren\'t)
I've only been playing internet poker for a couple of months, but I'm pretty disappointed with the standard of software across the services I've used. Apart from general ugly interfaces (Pacific Poker has been the best I've used by the way), a couple of very basic programmable features that I'd find helpful but aren't there:
- Manipulating the interface for two-tabling. The shape of the window is fine for four games on one high-resolution monitor, but for those of us that only play with two it'd be perfect if the chat and buttons and everything were to the right of the main table rather than underneath it, so we can have two horizontally flat windows fitting easily. - Spinning the table around. I'm baffled that you can't seem to do this on any of the programs. I just mean turning my perspective of the table around so that if I want to be on the bottom-left or the top or whatever then I can be. It's nice to be on the outside when your windows are cluttered, or to stay in one position throughout a tournament, but for no reason we're stuck into arbitrary screen positions that have no importance. Any more? |

So does Prima / MGS...
At a table, click menu / options / seating preference |

I think Prima also has a table configuration where the chat goes to the right side of the window, but I'm not positive. |

When I last played there prima's chat went to the right of the table, but they still cluttered up under the table somehow so it didn't save any space.

F'ing the ability to change seats at the table, how hard is this??
I think like 1 small poker room offers this, its completely retarded. |

Pacifc is the best software youve used?/ You must be on crack. Pacific was designed to run on the original Atari.

They should make it more like a live card room by adding "String Bet" and "Act out of turn" buttons

Next available seat option on waiting lists.
Default to waiting for the next blind to post. Images of cash rather than chips on the able. |
