Thanks. Obviously I know the concept, and I'd heard the term "floating", but never knew what it applied to. Yes I agree floating is incredibly dangerous against donks in a SNG, where it's soooo easy for them to get themselves pot-comitted to even an ace-high gutshot draw. Against good aggressive players it can be effective.
