Sup Bro?

My friend from who plays at our local B&M casino just called me up after a long session and asked me if I ever had someone repeatedly say "Sup bro?" while I was playing poker at the casino. Apparently a player at his table would say this to him every so often, and my friend would look at him more oddly with each occurence because he was unaware of the meaning. My friend then told me began to suspect it was a way for "certain people" to acknowledge themselves at the table. I told my friend that he was indeed right in his suspicions, it is a way for 2+2 website users to acknowledge themselves to each other at a B&M poker room or table. To this he said, "Oh that's what it is! I was beginnning to think it was some kind of gay come on or something." To which I replied, "Well, it's kinda like that, but not really."

I have said "sup bro" countless times at the Wynn 1/3, 2/5, and 5/10 NL games and haven't yet heard from someone who has responded in kind.
