Default Stud 8/B new starter

Just started playing 8/B after moving from stud. Really enjoying the decrease in variance. Have read the chapter in Super system and have orderd Ray Zee's book. Has anyone any tips on where to look for more information. Would really appreciate. Also any tips on where to play would be really helpfull. Playing on PP low limits cash tables and sit and go's wonderd if there where any sites running MTT's. Thanks in advance.

You've basically got all the literature on the game once Zee's book arrives. Stars have a good variety of S/8 games and tourneys, Pacific has some cash games though not a lot, and Full Tilt seems to have some S/8 tourneys as well. S/8 seems a popular choice for SNGs at Stars at the lowest limits at least. Good luck!

I just got Ray Zee's book in the mail myself. I'm in the same situation as you. I would say reread brunson as he has good advice for beginners.

And that's why I wrote my book, which will finally be in print next year ) Sent you a complimentary e-book and have sent out a bunch - look forward to hearing back from folks!
