EU laws re. online gaming
Can someone tell me which countries in the EU allow online gaming and which don't?
(Obviously allowed in Sweden, but where else explicitly allowed?) Sorry if this has already been covered. |

[/ QUOTE ] yeah it stinks! especially because of the hypocritical reasons they give for restricting gambling to the monopoly. they back this restriction stating it is better to prevent addictive gambling. on the other hand you have to watch dozens of stupid ads on TV for the national lottery and casinos each day, which tell you how easy it is to win millions. Re: EU laws re. online gaming
- France like the US doesn't allow "apparently" it but nothing to enforce it. Big grey area there taxwise no new law coming up as far as I know.
- Italy is against it strongly and has banned it like a year ago. - United Kingdom has made it legal and official... no Tax! The current government promotes gambling industry at the moment. |
