Poker tracker question
For anyone that uses Poker tracker here, what should my BB/100 be? what is average? what is the min. # of hands that I need to play to really get an accurate reading of my BB/100? 10,000 hands, 20,000 hands, 50,000 hands? Anyone have any thoughts on how many hands and BB/100 you should play and average at a certain level, before moving up limits? Any thoughts would help. thanks

Re: Poker tracker question
to be accurate you need at least +100k hands...
3ptBB/100 is good and 5 or more is realy good you shouldn't be under 2 specialy in low stakes!!! if you're running 7ptbb over 40k hands, that should be enough to say you're a winner, but it doesn't mean that on the long run you gonna run at 7bb/100... you would need 100 if not 150-200k hands to know about exactly what's your real BB/100 !! BUT, since you're gonna move up(hopefully) before that, you're almost never gonna know exactly what's you BB/100 hands and you shouldn't care anyway!!Be a winner and move up when you got 30 buy in or so for the next level and try it!! If it's too hard or you get a big down swing just go back down to the previous limit that you were already a winner ... |

Re: Poker tracker question
I think you need at least 250K hands to get a good idea of your winrate.
