Re: $22 Speed Hand out of the SB
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Call. Villian could easily have a bare 5, or AJs or something [/ QUOTE ] Not this villain [/ QUOTE ] So this guy's some sort of freakish ubernit? Then I dunno. I can't think of a villian I wouldn't get it in against though, so this guy would have to be something special.. |

Re: $22 Speed Hand out of the SB
[ QUOTE ]
Can't see him having a 5 if he's a tight regular. Don't think he checks the flop with a jack. NO WAY he has aces as second limper and also checking the flop. Probably has 222, JJJ or a busted flush draw. Don't think I'm capable of folding this anyway. [/ QUOTE ] There is absolutely no way I get away from this. |

Re: $22 Speed Hand out of the SB
Exactly what do you mean by "tight?" There's a difference between a VPIP of 17% and 4%.

Re: $22 Speed Hand out of the SB
Top 14% is {44+,A8o+,A4s+,KJs+}. A more likely 14% range is {22+, AJo+, ATs+, KQs}. He probably raises AA and KK all the time, QQ, AK, and JJ some of the time, and limps the rest. You are ahead of AJ, and behind 55, 22, JJ, AA. Of those, the most likely based on his preflop action are AJs ([img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]) and 22. He's also bluffing some fraction of the time.
I still think you make more checking to induce a bluff from the majority of his range that's missed rather than betting out. It also means a lot more when he pushes over your check-minraise rather than over your spurrious river lead. |
