simple preflop question: AK early in 55 SNG
$55 SNG on party
just started, everyone has full 2k stacks first 3 hands everyone has played pretty tight, everyone folding to a preflop raise or on the flop UTG limps for 40, MP raises to 180, i have AKo in LP. what's the standard play here? |

I just push. More often than not we pick up 280 chips, sometimes we get called by AJ / AQ and rejoice, other times we get called by 99-QQ and we race, and rarely you will run into AA-KK and then you cry... Notice that calling will STILL cost you your stack is villain has AA-KK if any of them hit the flop... and AQ/AJ can get away from K-high flop (as can 99-QQ).
