Default Ram problem

Hi I'm in need of some help! I am currently trying to install a 512mb ddr pc3200 into my system, however originally I had just a 512mb ddr pc3200 stick now I have a different brand but it is also 512mb ddr pc3200, anyways my computer keeps crashing when I have both installed. So basically my motherboard I believe is a nForce I think.. http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p..._Neo2_Platinum my mobo looks like that except instead of 2 green ddr slots it only has 1..but has 2 purple ddr slots so yeah...anyways since each ddr stick was different..I bought two sticks of the same brand same everything..and I installed it and boom computer won't go past the xp loading screen...Also to add I removed all the sticks and just put 1 of the new ones in and everything worked fine but with 2 sticks it wont work..and it wont work with 1 old stick and one new one...please help! i apologize for grammar etc. Im just kinda pissed atm...
