Default 5/10 on UB (never played ub until this month) 200bbs reraised pot 2pr

On tilt playing ub 5/10 6max. Lost the HH b/c UB blows. I am playing UB to branch out from my normal PP 5/10 6max forays because sometimes the ub games look good but I have no real reads on the regulars since I've only logged about 5 or 6k hands on the site.

The HH is from memory but accurate. LAG 28/18ish player raises in CO, I make it 120 (pot) from button with 65dd.
I think it's clear to the table I'm on tilt. I lost a big pot to the pigeon_john regular guy when I flopped 555 on 652 board to his 43. Then I lost with J10 on KQ979 board to 97. I have built my stack back up to 2k w/o showing down by raising lots of flops and people folding.

We both have 2k stacks. He calls OOP. Flop is 675 one diamond. He leads for 185 (smallish bet, perhaps designed to induce a raise--does JJ+ lead out like that there, or are they more likely to CR?). I raise to 650 (bit less than pot)? Is this a stupid raise? I wanted to raise for value, but people tend to fold when u reraise pot (at least from what i've noticed). He goes all in. What do you guys do? It's like 1200 more to call. How often am I beat here? WTF is he betting on? This hand confused the heck out of me. UB blows.

Since your tilting has been very aggressive, he could easily being doing this with an overpair for value considering you repopped it preflop. Your holding is too disguised here, I think you have to call.

Regards,

Fin

Given the factors you describe and preflop action, this is a must call. Is this not why you played this hand... now follow through!

I think this is a pretty easy call. He has AA/KK more than he has a set, 89, etc...

Your post was really hard to read by the way.

No.

Insta-call.
[ QUOTE ]

Rarely, though you may not be too far ahead (88/99).
[ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]
An overpair, a big draw, or a hand that beats you. Because of the context, you definitely can call.

No it does not. Vast overplays are epidemic.

the guy's name is fatality__, someone just told me. Apparently he is a regular at those stakes. Does this change anything? Also, I remembered he led for 225 and I made it 635 on the flop.

Is it possible he has AA/KK and smooth called PF? Even QQ/JJ and is now overplaying it on a safe board hoping you don't beat him. Your hand is well disguised and are miles ahead of his range IMO. Of course sometimes you are in a lot of trouble here but that is far from common, it is very rare. Call this fast and feel good about it.

IMO, if he had QQ or JJ he would be bluffing. I will almost never call with a worse hand there, or if I do I will have a pair+SD. I think we can safely eliminate QQ and JJ from his range once he shoves unless you guys know something about this fatality__ guy that I don't.
