Default Bad play or Bad Beat?

Hero: I have not been running well lately and been taking some bad beats, wondering if this overaggresive tilt or just another bad beat.

Reads: Table has been fairly weak tight inculding Villan. Most of my blind steals have gone unchallenged and I am certainly the most aggresive player at the table.

$200NL 6 max

Hero($248) in BB with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Villan($160) on the Button

3 players limp including Villan, SB completes, Hero raises to $12, Villan calls, all others fold

Flop($30) 2 players

A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero bets $25, Vilan calls $25

Turn ($80) 2 players

4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero checks, Villan bets $30, Hero raises to $100, Villan calls

River ($280) 2 players

2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero bets $23, Villan calls All In ($23)

Final pot $246

Villan shows 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

My question is did I overplay my AQs out OOP?

Bad play. Being overly agro OOP on a consistent basis is not good for your BR. Typically I'm waiting for this donk lagtard to bring it in then re-raising in position. With this donk on your right just practice patience and discipline.

Was even my preflop raise too aggresive?

Or should I have just checkcalled down after he called my flop bet?

Turn-Bad. Flop fine. I either c/c or bet fold to reraise here on the turn.

Nothing wrong with raising preflop, However if you are going to raise:

3 players limp including Villan, SB completes, = raise more than 12, i'm actually shocked you only got called in one spot.

Make it 20.

Flop is fine, by the turn pot is to big against this shortstack, it's getting in as you can't put him on a 7. Alot of time this type of villan has Ax here.

Make this fools pay to hit this crap.

I see no problem with $12-16 preflop, i think 20 is excessive (potsized raise would be $13). I dont like the turn c/r, c/call or bet/fold.

Bad play on turn and river. I call and you can C/C or C/F river.
