Re: Discrepancies on \"Calling Shotgun\"

[ QUOTE ] I instantly lose respect for people that call shotgun. [/ QUOTE ]Wow, you are NO FUN. If something good happens and a buddy calls for a high-five, do you stare at his hand and roll your eyes? -Sam [/ QUOTE ] High five, gayest thing ever. "Let's slap palms! Let's slap our palms together! Oh yeah!" |

Re: Discrepancies on \"Calling Shotgun\"
Hi OOT. I have no friends and no one cares about me. I see all the cool kids doing this high-five thing, but I don't understand it because I've never tried it. This shotgun game sounds kinda cool, but I don't have a car, much less friends to ride with to have a chance to play. I cry myself to sleep at night and hope to swallow a knife.
Who am I? |

Re: Discrepancies on \"Calling Shotgun\"
The short person never gets Shotgun. In fact, I think its incredibly gay when they they call it. God made you short for a reason, so that all us normal sized people would have more room in the car.

Re: Discrepancies on \"Calling Shotgun\"
[ QUOTE ]
When there is a situation with cramped seating, a SHOTGUN call may be superceded by a request (or demand) by the tallest group member to ride shotgun. [/ QUOTE ] Most people abide by this, but i've definatly been with some a-holes who have screwed me before. Also I agree that you cant call shotgun until you exit where you are. |

Re: Discrepancies on \"Calling Shotgun\"
If someone bigger than me were to ever punk me out of shotgun when I called it first, I would make sure they had the MOST uncomfortable ride of their life on their way to the next destination.

- Shotgun may only be called when the car is in sight and not before - The owner of the car does not need to call "ownership" or anything of the sort. His right to shotgun is inherent in owning the car. [/ QUOTE ] MAN LAW! |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm not usualy a dick about it depending on the crowd i'm with, but its a HUGE dick move for some 5'8 guy to have all sorts of room in shotgun while i have the back seat trying to fit my freakish large body back there by wrapping my legs around his seat. |

[/ QUOTE ] Dude, I love the Man Law premise, but the Man Law judiciary board leaves someting to be desired...(I sense another thread). The deal behind the "OWNERSHIP" call in this instance has everything to do with the fact that the short guy in the OP's original story is that the guy's douched enough that he needs special terms to understand what inherent ownership calls would mean. He doesn't understand the word inherent. Yes, some of our friends are not smart at all. |
