I hit a girl once when I was a bouncer. It happened 15 years ago and I still feel bad about it even though I believe it was justified.
She cracked me in the back of the head with a glass pitcher when I was throwing her boyfriend out for groping a waitress. I turned around and she was rearing back with the pitcher to swing at me again. It didnt knock her out but it floored her and the side of her face was swollen by the time she got up. She called the cops and they arrested her for assaulting me. Overall, if I had it to do over again I think I would use less extreme force. Given my size, most people give me a really f'd up look when I tell them this story.
