From his site, http://lgb.philgordonpoker.com/index.php?q=node/12 ...
"Should you find an error not listed below, please submit it to us in email." Yet he provides no e-mail address that I can find on the site. |

That's pretty funny.
Did you find an error, though? If I was going to do one of those CardPlayer polls where I asked people to vote as to which is their favorite non-2+2 poker book, LGB book would be on the list (along with, off the top of my head, Ace on the River, Kill Phil, Weighing the Odds, and Positively Fifth Street). |

[/ QUOTE ] Yes, I'd go along with the above. I'd probably add Ciaffone's Improve Your Poker to the list as well. |

That's pretty funny. Did you find an error, though? [/ QUOTE ] I noticed a couple of things in the “audio book.” They are probably correct in the book... just misread by Phil, most likely. One was something about limping in 5X as often with a good hand, then explains “why” and it clearly is a contradiction. By his explanation, he should limp 1 in 5 with a good hand, not the other way around. Another was SB vs BB, where he would play “all unsuited kings, and most unsuited kings.” It is very easy to figure out what he meant, obviously. It’s just funny about no e-mail... that’s all. |

Yeah, you can figure that out easily enough.
I don't know if I read it somewhere (or heard about it somewhere) and it could just be one of those urban myths, but I seem to remember someone offering X dollars for any book free from all errors of any sort, as it's basically impossible to do. You just hope they catch as much as possible and that the overall content is worth the X dollars you're paying for the book. In the case of LGB, I went in with such low expectations (I wrongly assumed it would be yet another horrid poker book by a "name" player) that I was very happy with my purchase after reading it. |
