This was my 4th hand at the table and thus no reads. When my opponent bet out on the flop after calling my bet, I figured he may have either a draw or a weaker ace. When I raised him on the flop and then got reraised I became confused. I wasn't sure what to put my opponent on at that point and I had not idea if I was ahead or behind although I was certainly leaning towards the latter. I figured he may have hit trips or two pair. I ultimately decided to make a reluctant call and see what the turn brought. When then 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] came I figured that couldn't have helped his hand and called another bet by my opponent. Please critique my play on all streets. I feel like I played this hand like crap.

BB bets $0.38, Hero raises to $1.29, BB calls $0.91.
Final Pot: $4.11

Opponent shows Ac 7c

When the board paired on the river with an non-club I figured I had the best hand. I had Aces up with the Queen kicker. If he had AK or trips then more power to him but I was gonna get the rest of my chips in here. </font>

You played this fine, at higher limits I don't think the river push is a good idea but at NL2 im pretty sure a lot of worse hands call.

oh, and dont post results.

What range should I put my opponent on once he reraises me on the flop?

At the nanolimits, I like PFRing more overall. It seems to me you need to overcome the whole "it's only 8 cents" thing with a much bigger raise. Part of the reason you PFR after all (often) is for fold equity before the flop.

Your flop raise is not pot-sized. I make a pot-sized raise here, which means making it 0.50 to go. This is important to not give flush draws proper implied odds to call.

Once he re-raises you, I'm putting his range at flush draw, set or nonsense. A read would be helpful, but without that I'm playing SA/WB. Call the re-raise, and then when he makes such a smmall bet on the turn it looks like he'll let you showdown cheaply. I plan on calling it down. If he had bet a lot more, I'd be gone.

Overall, I like the way you played the hand although some bets could have been bigger.
