Re: WA/WB turns into probabe WA then I get raised
[ QUOTE ]
Id call down also. Limit is all about saving bets, and I would have never played that hand. Now that you hit the turn I'd have to see what its worth after that turn, at the minimal price... Im new, could be wrong. [/ QUOTE ] I've heard you say this in several posts now (I think it was you at least) and I think this needs correcting. Limit is definitely NOT about saving bets. It is about exploiting equity edges to make money from opponents who call too many bets with weak hands. If hero has the best hand and a significantly large pot equity edge, he should choose a line to a) increase the size of the pot to earn the most from his edge and b) raise to increase his equity even further by knocking out weak draws. That said, this may not be the case for this hand, but I just wanted to get it out there that "saving bets" should never be a player's goal. |

If you cant play this hand post flop when an Ace falls then why the heck are you trying to defend it? Bet the damn flop. [/ QUOTE ] I bet this flop 0% of the time. |

Re: WA/WB turns into probabe WA then I get raised
the non-c/b line on the flop is very suspicious to me, given that he is aggressive. I might suspect QQ or AA at that point. I'd call the turn and I would also river an Ace to beat his boat.
