Is test anxiety a lame excuse for being underprepared and not understanding the material routinely, or is it as widespread as some would have you believe?
I just feel that someone experiencing test anxiety that has an easy test thrown in front of them will perform fine. So why not on a medium or hard test? Just curious what others think, and if anyone out there really has this affiliction. Im not talking about a random blanking, but anxiety continually leading to poor performance. Thanks rJ_ |

Sounds like your on the right track. The anxiety is probably caused by knowing they don't know the material. You either know it or you don't.. that simple.

I just got out of a year long suspension from school by blaming an anxiety disorder. I actually have it though, I wasn't lying. But point is its a legitimate excuse.
