What is your favorite pro player like away from the table, say at home in his living room or backyard? Do you know what goes on behind the scenes of the major poker tournaments that you see on TV? Have you ever wondered what goes into the manufacturing of table felts or poker chips?

Inside Poker is the television show, which answers these questions and solves the mysteries behind poker. Inside Poker, presented by PokerTime.net, begins airing across the nation on regional cable networks beginning Saturday, December 17. New installments will be released every two weeks. Check out www.InsidePoker.tv for channels and times in your viewing area. The web site will also provide streaming video of segments seen on the show, as well as viewer promotions.

The first season of Inside Poker contains features on Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, Chris Moneymaker and Daniel Negreanu. Greg Raymer, Jennifer Harman and Eric Seidel will help viewers with playing tips. The show also takes viewers behind the scenes on locations including Binion’s, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the Palms, Poker SuperStars III, the Monte Carlo Millions and the WPT.

THE DIVISION produces the show in association with Action Television. “We were looking to add a dimension to poker that isn’t found on television,” stated Jeff Brausch, CEO of THE DIVISION and the show’s creator. “There is plenty of competitive card playing found on TV. We want to give the viewer a deeper look at the hottest game going.”

Hosted by Tournament Director extraordinaire, Matt Savage, this lively thirty-minute magazine format show will delve into the lifestyle that is poker. In each show, there is a feature on one of the sports biggest names. Footage from around the world will take viewers behind the scenes of the game. Minor details that were once only the domain of the aficionado are exposed.

“I have always wanted to dig a little deeper into the players’ personalities”, said Matt Savage. “I know the players, both on a professional level and many times on a personal basis. This is not “Sixty Minutes”, but I’m not lobbing any softballs either. It’s a lot of fun for me because I know the answers to many of my questions and the players know I know. They’re not getting off easy with me.”

Each episode includes a segment of online playing tips from co-author of “Poker for Dummies”, Lou Krieger. “This show is different. It will give the viewers a different look at the game. I’m impressed.”
