Sack Lodge, I'm assuming this is what you're talking about because there is no way you could get by in the NBA for more than a minute or two otherwise.

Well, I have pretty good handles, I can run pretty fast and I'm a good shooter. I'm actually really, really good at basketball. Of course, like someone else said, at the NBA level I couldn't create my own shot or keep anyone from scoring (and a defender who wanted to pressure me could probably steal the ball at any time) but my play would at least look passable in garbage time.

Remember, when you actually get in the game as the 12th man, it's not like the other team is full-court pressing you. It's garbage time.

Since we're assuming the necessary conditioning, any Track and Field event would be doable. I guess you'd be screwed with sprints if your body has a shortage of fast-twitch muscle fiber, or distance if your lungs sucked, but that's where I'd look.

Basketball requires a lot of things. At only 6'6" I'd have to be pretty damn good, where a 7 footer wouldn't have to do much more than be 7' tall.

Did you seriously just quote his question except for the part where he said "(except DH)" and then post a picture of a DH?

IMO, the people who are saying it would be easiest to fake being a nfl punt/kick return/coverage guy are nuts. I mean, unless you're already live in the gym and look like a stiffnecka, you're going to look fake the moment you step on the field. You would be lucky to make it through a quarter, let alone a whole game, without getting hurt.

The only position anyone who hasn't played pro football could fake is the holder for field goals and pats. That's the easiest thing to fake in any pro sport I can think of.

I could be Landon Donovan. Walk around for 10 minutes and get the ball, pass it backwards. Do all the interviews....repeat.

I could fake being a pro-bowler now, even though I might make it on the tour in a few years.

MLB DH: I could fake it for 4 at bats.

NFL TE: I'm big enough, and used to be fast enough. Most of the blocking at TE is at angles, limiting the times you'd get run over. The TE pass patterns are usually short without too much finesse.
