[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I dig what the Cristal guy is saying. That drink is like one of the finest champagnes you can get. They want their image to be associated with sophistication & wealth..not strippers, and dude throwing around stacks of 100's. [/ QUOTE ]why the [censored] should the care? If he honestly thinks that, the board of Cristol should can his ass. You run a company to make money, as long as he isn't comprimising the quality of his product, rich stuffy people will buy it, and so will stupid rappers, athletes, and other moronic rich people. [/ QUOTE ] Integrity. [/ QUOTE ]Whats your point? [/ QUOTE ] Just a reason why he could care about this "unwanted attention", despite the fact that it does bring in decent revenue. |

well the question I have is, why would he need to worry about his integrity if he doesn't compromise the quality of his product, nor directly market to groups he doesn't want supporting his product? To me it seems like he doesn't need to do anything.

[ QUOTE ]
lolz @ people thinking this is somehow not about race [/ QUOTE ] At first, I thought your statement was ridiculous. But, the more I think about it, race probably is significant. It's more about class, but, still race is a factor. Unfortunately, these two are tragically entwined because the majority of black representation in the media is from hip-hop/rap. Thankfully, hip-hop has been representing a better image in the last several years. But, a scummy element still exists, and in no way has the stigma disappeared. |
