constant timeouts on wpex
I load up 2 tables at wpex to play along with my other games and after about a half hour or so they start lagging terribly, eventually enough to time me out before I even get a chance to act. Anyone else having this problem? It's completely unplayable.
I just flopped the nuts with AK but it timed me out before it even asked me to act.. very frustrating. |

[/ QUOTE ] Lag is a problem there for a lot of people. I found it basically impossible to run Party poker, PAHUD, PT, and WPEX all at once. Despite a robust machine the WPEX would lag badly. Multi-tabling on WPEX alone I rarely have problems. They are aware of the issue and are supposedly working to improve it. B. |

Re: constant timeouts on wpex
I have a fairly high powered computer and if I'm trying to run multiple programs the lag will get bad. When I just run WPEX the lag is there, but I almost never time out.
It sucks, I know. I figure it's the price I pay to play there and over the long haul it's going to happen to my opponents as often as it happens to me. |

Re: constant timeouts on wpex
From this thread: Ok, I'm done with WPEX
Type "Ctrl-Alt-Delete" then under Windows Task Manager/Processes, right click on PokerTracker(ptrack) and Set Priorty to "below normal" and set WPEX to "above normal". This took care of the problems I was having running PT with WPEX. |
