Extracting value at commerce
Commerce 3/5 NL. It's getting late on a Saturday night so the effective stack is 1000+
It's 5 limpers before me in the BB with 89o I check and the flop is Kh6x7x. I lead out for 25. Two callers behind me. The first leans toward tight passive. The second more towards loose passive. Turn is a 5h. I bet 50. Both call. River is another 5. What should my bet on the river be? Can a pair of kings call 150 here? |

Re: Extracting value at commerce
The turn pot is 105? I would bet 100.
I would likely bet about 150 on the river, and fold to a push. 50 was too small of a turn bet IMO. If the king called 100 on the turn, hes calling 150 on that river. |

Re: Extracting value at commerce
Thanks for the replies. I was looking to get raised on the turn, but I guess that's rather stupid given the profiles of my opponents.
For the curious, I bet 75 on the river and got called by the tight passive, who mucked without showing after I turned over the straight. Boring I know. Hopefully I'll get more money next time. |
