Given no c/r I would 3-bet flop. You have paired Q's and a backdoor nut flush draw. |

Re: Played AQs too risky?
Depending on my read of the pre-flop raiser I may 3-bet this preflop.
I certainly would c/r this flop and lead out the turn and river if I didn't 3-bet pf. |

Re: Played AQs too risky?
Depending on how good a player you consider the button is, you might consider 3-betting preflop. More precisely, this might have been an isolation raise from him, trying to get the pot heads-up with CO. But at .05/.1 that is doubtful.
3-bet the flop. The only likely hands you are behind to are AA-QQ. If he caps, you might want to consider check/folding the turn UI. |

Re: Played AQs too risky?
I'm 3-betting this preflop almost all the time, unless button is a complete stone. we also should checkraise this flop because it's the best way to increase our equity against a possible whiffed continuation bet. also, risking a free card isn't too bad for us.
bet the turn! if we're raised then we know we're in trouble, but not enough trouble to fold. I'm not sufficiently convinced that we have the best hand to try a checkraise here. a 3-bet would be nasty for us. |

That's a great flop texture for you. I 3-bet the flop against an unknown. If I'm capped on the flop, I'm check/calling the turn. As you saw, since the turn was checked through, I bet out again, since he took his free card. |

Re: Played AQs too risky?
I'm not sure where the risky adjective fits into this play.
This is a definite 3-bet preflop. If he doesnt cap then you know you're almost certainly ahead on this flop and can kick appropriate ass. As it is you may be ahead maybe not. |

Calling pf is OK, but I prefer a reraise cuz BTN may be raising his position to get CO HU. jessie |

Re: Played AQs too risky?
wayyy too risky for my taste. you have TPTK and the board is rainbow AND uncoordinated. You must 3-bet the flop and lead the turn.
