queens are live, but yes, you are most likely behind here. I'm not so sure seat 8 has the flush yet, but he at least has a flush draw and made straight. The only way he is raising here at all is when he beats aces up.

So I like the fold, as you are drawing to 2 outs.

Oh come on, you have two squeaky clean outs here.

With you betting an open pair after showing early aggression, and with that other guy calling, there is basically no way in hell that the raiser doesn't have a flush. I think even I would find a fold here.

I'm glad Andy agrees.

He checked 4th. The only thing I can think of is that he checked to allow you to keep the lead, and setup for the raise on 5th for value. I like his play, and I like your fold.

I actually just used this play 3 seconds ago and it worked masterfully. Whats better is that my villain wasnt a thinking player and called down. I caught aces up by 6th, and the flush on the river. Turns out I was ahead the whole way, and he actually called the river with a pair of 8's. Interesting since I had an open pair of aces. Looks like I found a new buddy for my buddy list.

That's a tough hand. I honestly don't instantly give seat 8 credit for a big hand - I'm thinking maybe 5's and 8's, and 888 is a lesser possibility - unless he's very good I don't see him raising a pr and open-ender/4flush there. Depends on your read and how aggressive he is. Either way, you've got seat 4 on a likely 4 flush. Hard hand to get away from. To be honest, I may have laid it down on 5th street while the pot was still small, but it's hard to say - if I saw 6th I'd have to go to end with that many BB in the pot. You could safely fold 7th if seat 4 woke up, though and you didn't hit a queen.
