PLO in tunica...

Im gonna be in tunica this weekend and was wondering what stakes are available and where? aparently it's a big tourney weekend.

Every year I go down there its either 5 10, or 10 25 at least thats what I played each time. The 10 25 is sick so bring a large bag of cash, it will be 500 pre often lol.

When I was in Tunica a few months ago, there was a similarly large PLO game running at the Horseshoe. Nothing at the Gold Strike next door. Didn't check anywhere else.

To my knowledge yes. Chipr777 (from the Horseshoe) has confirmed this in the B&M forum from time to time. You might try cross-posting there.

p.s. You might be able to get something lower going if it is a big tourney weekend, but I actually had trouble (on a non-big-tourney week) getting an O8/b game to run outside of weekend nights.

This does not change the fact that Tunica >>>> almost anywhere in terms of great poker rates, comps, and donkalicious good times.

Usually you can only find PLO at the Horseshoe, and at 10/25. I'm not aware of PLO being regularly spread at any other casino in Tunica.

I play at Gold Stike in Tunica a lot and have never seen a PLO game there at all (or at The Grand for that matter), although the Gold Strike has a great 4/8 O8 kill game almost daily. This can be a fun change of pace from tournaments or no limit hold em.

Sometimes when the WPT or WSOP are in Tunica you can find a 5/10 PLO and/or a 5/10 PLO and PLH mix. I've never seen a smaller buyin PLO game anywhere in Tunica.

Also remember that with the Mississippi Straddle, the 5-10 game will play closer to 10-25 than you might think.
