Default Re: SSNL [cheese] thread 2: JUNE (nc)

This is to date one of the worst hands I have ever played in my entire "career". I want to post it here as a testament to my commitment to good play from this point forward. Every single aspect of this hand is incorrect and I knew what they both had before I pushed, yet still did, as a 15% dog.

Enjoy!

soccer sucks and the rest of the world should play a real mans sport like football or baseball.

Actually we do play football. But one peculiar country have chosen to use that term for a sport where they throw the ball with their hands. Go figure...

Make that a 12 buyin downswing at 25NL. In 2k hands. My win % at SD is 28.

My last 12k hands I am down with AA.

I need to be a case study on running bad.

Who was the 2p2er who made a hilarious joke about Einstein at a 100nl table while I was having a random discussion about theoretical physics with a guy named HerrBeaver? (it was a weird table)

[/ QUOTE ]

Nerd jokes are my favorite.

Q: What do you get when you cross an elephant and a zebra? (Answer in white below)
<font color="white">Elephant zebra cosine theta.</font>

If you don't think that's funny, realize that there are two people in the SSNL community who find that joke absolutely hilarious.

At the boondoggle I'll tell you my psychologist joke. I can't tell it here, because it's inappropriate.

There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who understrand binary code, and those who don't.

Here was a real TV hand I played last night.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
4 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $17.90
Button: $41.60
Hero: $40.40
BB: $10.10

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG calls, Button calls, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $1.5</font>, BB folds, UTG calls, Button folds.

Flop: ($3.5) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $2.5</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG raises all-in $16.4</font>, Hero calls.

UTG showed Js 9s, Grunch shows Aces

<font color="blue">Crowd cheers for Grunch! You got him!</font>

Turn: ($36.3) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $36.3)

<font color="blue">Oh no! The one-pair-overvaluing fish sucked out! The humanity!</font>

River: ($36.3) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $36.3)

<font color="blue">Woo! Re-suck out! Grunch wins with Aces full!</font>

Final pot: $36.3

Everyone's up out of thoer seats, and with fists pumping high in the air they start to chant...
<font color="green">Grunch! Grunch! Grunch!</font>

Nice work. Now immediately go out and buy the Iron Maiden box set.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hahaha! How did you know? I just bought a box set like 3 hours ago. Not Iron Maiden though (I have enough of Iron Maiden cd's), I just bought Dmitry Shostakovich box set (27 cd's!!!).

[/ QUOTE ]

FWIW in another life I was a cellist.

Shostakovich's concerto in E-flat was my favorite piece in the repertoire.
