Monty's was because he's just a choker. Phil's is because he was dumb. Which is worse? I don't know. Likely the dumb choke because at least one can control that.

That was kind of depressing, I never like seeing someone win because of someone elses mistakes.

I don't see bad judgement on shot selection as really choking. He should have never hit driver off the tee. He should have never went for the green on the 2nd shot. This isn't 3 putting a 5 foot putt.

This is why you pay a caddie, to talk you out of bonehead decisions.

That is the majority of golf tournaments, especially the Opens
