party $44 early all-in decision
party $44, 230 players, about 190 left
i've played tight so far, raising a few hands ago with K9s in LP and taking down the pot on the flop i have ~3400, SB (villian) has the big stack at the table with ~8000. blinds are 30-60 i raise to 200 UTG with QQ, two loose players call, SB raises to 4000, BB folds with no read on SB, this early in the tournament, what's my play here getting about 1.2-1 if i call and the other two guys fold? |

Easy call. If you aren't there to build a stack, then you aren't there to win.

where's your cutoff for calling here? what do you do with AKs or JJ or TT?

got it, thanks. i guess i agree, yes there is a higher than normal chance he has AA or KK, but it's still a profitable call, and i have to be willing to risk my stack with QQ if i want to win
i called, he turned over KK and it held up |
