Re: The Brazil vs Australia Thread
Australia was one open net away from perhaps getting a draw out of this.
Good game to watch. If only they could have gone over the 2.5 goals line! |

Re: The Brazil vs Australia Thread
Guys,
How the hell does Kewell not put it in the back of the net after that horrible goaltending decision? He even had time to take a touch before shooting. Have to capitalize on those. How long til Robinho starts instead of Ronaldo? |

Re: The Brazil vs Australia Thread
Robinho should have started today over Ronaldo. now that Brazil have basically clinched top seed, I think you'll see the coach give Ronaldo one more game to get up to speed/in shape. after that, Robinho time.

Re: The Brazil vs Australia Thread
Ronaldo is not leaving the team unless he is injured.
He has a huge influence in the team, he is as influent as Parreira. Here in Brazil we all want Robinho since it is obvious Ronaldo is not the Ronaldo of 2002, something like the Garrincha of 66. But, Parreira canīt just take Ronaldo off, so i expect that he starts the game in the round of 16 but get replaced in the halftime. Also, an underrated aspect of Brasilīs game is our defence, it is much better than we expected, the only problems being the times Lucio decides to go to attack. I personally think the Ronaldo issue will be the reason Brasil wonīt win the title, in the last years Brazil never made a great game with Ronaldo in the team, he is just too slow, but, when the attack is Robinho and Adriano, Brazil have great games like the 4-1 massacre against Argentina at the Confederations Cup last year. |
