I think you are looking at either a high PP, or a made straight. Villan could be holding pocket 6's, 7's, could even be a set.

you likely have all of your flush outs, so id say 9 outs there

I think you have 4 outs to a split pot (6's)

I doubt aces are an out, nor are 7's.

Id say you have 11 (9 for the flush, 1.5 for the straight cards, .5 for the small chance that the aces are good)

Plus, on top of that, you are calling 6.05 to win 16.1, getting 2.66 - 1. Even at 9 outs, you are getting 1.9 - 1.

I'd call here, thinking 10-11 outs, but I would certainly like to see someone else's response because I am still very very raw at this game, and am curious if I am wrong in my way of thinking.

In my limited NL (no pun intended) experience, the flat call on the flop, push the turn is almost always a set w/ Villian figuring you for an overpair.

So all of your flush outs, aside from from the 3 and 5, should be good, plus you have outs with the 6's as well, so I put my answer at 10 solid outs.

9 outs to the nuts.

and if he has 97d then 7 outs to the nuts.

but in general he is liable to have anything. i highly doubt you ace is an out should you hit. id really think you were on a flush draw at this point and it is a fold

oh i just missed your 2 as an out. meh its still a fold i think. we really have no info here. if he had a PSB left behind then i make this call

If he has 97d we have a lot more than 7 outs. Ok, I'll stop nitting now.

Grunch,

you need to win 27% of the time. With 46 cards left, that's 12.5 outs. Count spade outs as 8, sixes as 3, aces as 1-2. Call if you like flipping coins for stacks.

well, you're only a little worse than 2-1 vs a set, and you're getting nearly 3:1 on the call. I think he very rarely has a flopped nuts. call
