I'm surprised there is no thread on this up here. Several internet communities are participating in this. I will go get a link for P5(they are the ones that initiated this). If it's not allowed go ahead and delete I guess. But a lot of people are writing/emailing today. I'll be back with the link.

well the P5 link takes you to the PPA page. Clicke on elected officials and enter your zip code. It brings up all the officials for your state. Then click on email official and it brings up a form letter. enter in your info and then click send. I took like 4 minutes to email all 3. DO IT NOW!!

Sent my letter just a few minutes ago.
I'm dealing with Robert Byrd. This guy is so old he doesn't even know what his own name is half the time.

What is it with old people and West Virginia anyway? I guess the younger ones are more able to escape or something. my grandmother is still in WV (Keyser, up near Cumberland, MD) and is actually older than Byrd. Saw a CNN piece about Byrd just a couple of days ago and it was pretty interesting. 88 and still kicking and trying to improve the reputation that WV has of being a hillbilly state. Note to Byrd - staying in the senate for 50+ years isn't going to help your state's reputation on that front. Talked about one of his biggest regrets being briefly part of the KKK in the 1940's as well as regreting voting against the Civil Rights Act in the 1960's.
