Re: Why Neteller and not use Debit Cards?
I could for about 12 months, but then my bank stopped cashing them.
Also a cheque would take 3-4 weeks to get here, then another 3 weeks for the $$$ to be available in my a/c. Lots of fees $14 per cheque. With my netteller debot card I can get my $$$ within 15 mins. steep fees but, better than what my bank charged me. Dink |

Re: Why Neteller and not use Debit Cards?
Every online poker room I've used so far takes neteller. It's easy to move money in and out of neteller from one poker room to another.

Re: Why Neteller and not use Debit Cards?
Can you call the bank and have them lift this. I just started a new bank account and my debit card doesn't work after using my old one for 2 years.

Re: Why Neteller and not use Debit Cards?
I'm from Canada so Neteller is very nice. My Neteller is in US$ so I can move it from poker site to poker site without having to pay conversion fees (the banks give you a terrible rate when converting) and then when I want to withdraw I use Party's no-fee EFT for Canadian customers...sends it right to my bank account for free and the currency conversion rate is usually better than listed.

[ QUOTE ]
I am in the US...I have been playing for 3+ years online and none of my CC's will work but my debit card has always worked! Guess I am lucky??? I use Citizens Bank... [/ QUOTE ] I use Citizens Bank too, and they let me deposit straight into various sites. However, I have never tried withdrawing straight from the site/casino into my account. For withdrawing, I use Neteller as a middle-man. |
