Default What does 32/7, etc. mean?

I'm new to the forums and I've been reading a lot of people's hand descriptions. However, I'm not quite sure what this means when people are describing how other people play. For example, one post said the "villain was 32/7 over about 200 hands." Could somebody please help a newb out?

Roughly, it means that villain plays about 32% of his hands preflop and raises 7% of his hands preflop.

That's not a precise definition, but it'll do.

VPIP/PFR/AF

Voluntarily put money in pot/ preflop raise / aggression factor

Get pokertracker

32/7 = fish

Ok, thanks guys. I'll have to get poker tracker. I've heard a lot of good things about it. So, what's a good number that you might see for a solid, tight aggressive player?

Sub 20, probably like 18 or so, PFR I have no idea cuz I raise a ton but your AF shouldn't be lower than 2.5 in my opinion and most people think that 3.0+ is too high.

This is limit.

You're talking full ring, I assume?

No, heads up.

.....Yeah

I have no idea what "optimal" 6max stats are but I'm around 31/22/3.x after like 40k

Wow, I'm more like 26/17/2.5-3 over about 60k 6-max. I read 30/20 players can do pretty well if they're very good postflop, though. I agree on the 18-20 vpip for full ring. And I think the general rule at full ring is to have a pfr % of about half your vpip, maybe a tad higher.
